VME is based on a program of demonstration. fleet of a dozen electric self-service vehicles will be deployed in each of the partner cities

To maximize the energy efficiency of these demonstration vehicles, and thus their autonomy, two actions will be carried out:

  • development of a supervisor energy board will take into account all the objectives of sustainable development in urban transport: energy, pollution, transport economics (. journey time, congestion, etc.)
  • development of energy mapping provides an accurate indicator of the energy consumed by local journeys.

The Institute of Image should provide a driving simulator to evolve in a realistic urban environment in order to validate the relevance of the interaction metaphors to indicate to the driver the adoption of appropriate conduct. The Institute shall provide the simulator and with the latter it must define testing protocols to lead and to make the study. The objective is to define the terms of trade between the EES and the driver.
